Tame Impala Greenfest
Ok, so this weekend is Greenfest in Brisbane. I know you all want to be like "I don't give a fuck about the environment because I don't give a fuck about anything except Marc Jacobs and having drinks at Elsewhere." Give your pointy boots and bow ties a rest for the weekend and put on an uncomfortable hemp shirt.
I went today (Friday the 5th of June) and watched (complete with 15 other people) Tame Impala play a gnarly, intimate show. It was like watching a band straight out of the acid drenched era of the 60's. Without any signs of strain at all, they blasted out a continuous, psychadellic phenomena for a full hour. The best part is they are playing all weekend long and even better is the fact that its completely free. Did I mention the fact that their is minimal security? Sneak all the beer and spliffs you want in and go check these guys out. You won't be disappointed and neither will the vagrant hippie sitting next to you inhaling your second hand smoke. Your blowing it if you don't go and for fuck's sake, its free. Fuckin cheap ass.....
